I used to love visiting Kavasutra for the welcoming vibes, vibrant community, and the sense of connection I built with other patrons. Unfortunately, recent management changes have significantly diminished my experience, the atmosphere, and quality of drinks being served. All of these changes have been quite disappointing, but most of all greedy. They have raised prices across the board, charging for basic things like creamer, syrups, cup holders, and extra cups- each costing an extra $1-$2. They use to serve soda from cans, now it’s flat soda from a 2 liter bottle that’s been sitting for however long. Speaking of sitting for a very long time, they’ve served spoiled kava multiple times, either insisting that’s how it tastes or it was just made. I think the most troubling and concerning thing is: they do not pay their employees overtime, each location operates under a different LLCs to avoid overtime pay. To top it off, they take a percentage of tips that the employees earn from card transactions. Businesses are allowed to do this only whatever the fee the credit card company charges the business, kavasutra is taking over 10% out of the tips earned from card transactions. (The most b

This is the second Kavasutra location I’ve visited. First one was Deerfield Beach location, which was also a good experience. In fact, there, I had a shell of kava followed by red vein kratom tea. This combo definitely manifested a super chill mood and sensation for a few hours post drink, starting about an hour after starting. The Coral Springs location looked much the same, which was good. Chill atmosphere and very key, music was NOT loud, which is GREAT. Joseph was super polite and helpful at Coral, so that is a big plus! Thanks Joseph! At Coral, I purchased the premade pre bottled pink lemonade kratom tea (8 oz I think). Joseph advised it was the same as a large tea. My personal experience was less satisfactory, meaning, I did not get that same chill sensation. I got SOME, but not nearly enough nor as previous, so, I don’t think it’s a good option for me. For me. It may work for others. I’m 6’5” 245, sooo, that may also have to do with it. Pricing is still a bit high IMO. For what it is, I think prices in general could be a bit lower, say by about $2.00 per drink. Again, good atmosphere and great service, at both locations actually. Get Some!

As far as kava bars go, this one is smaller than some but the atmosphere is very welcoming. I love that there isn’t LOUD club music playing and the vibe is chill. Joseph was very cool and helpful, so five stars for that. Three stars on the “food” only because I didn’t get the effect I was expecting to get from the drink. I bought the “pink lemonade black top” bottle of kradum tea which is - I was told - same as a large tea. Drank it over about 30 minutes total and had near zero effect. For a $12 bottle, to get zero effect is def disappointing! I’ll visit again for sure. Next time I’ll try something different. Maybe try starting with a kava shell. I’d say Get Some! Thanks Joseph.

Best kavasutra bar in the area. Lexi the manager is very attentive, friendly staff and drinks are always consistent. High recommend.

Just won $50 bar tab from foosball tournament on Friday 9:00pm! Nice place, actually friendly staff. That's rare at this chain. Fooesball table, laundry mat and pizza place near by. Only bad thing is parking. Why is it so full?
